Oracle’s expertise in adding value to commercial investments has resulted in the sale of Castledene Shopping Centre for £57 Million.
Oracle purchased the Castledene shopping centre in 2005 for £47 million, in partnership with Lehman Brothers as a joint venture. Our vision was to reconfigure and extend the existing centre, to make improvements through active management and to increase the catchment spread. The centre is 305,000 sq ft and includes high street brands such as Wilkinson, Boots and Iceland along with over 120 other tenancies. Since the initial acquisition, Oracle has added value with the inclusion of further development of stores, including a new 7,000sq ft New Look. In addition, Oracle have driven rent reviews and also purchased a former Safeway store, which has subsequently been sold on to Soccerworld.
